Can I start by saying how much I hate the sound of my own voice. Perhaps if I hadn't just spent my life savings on Library School I believe I would take up mime. So for better or for worse here is my assignment.

FWIW, I think everyone hates the sound of their own voice. OK maybe I'm exagerrating a bit, but at the very least, I can think of others I know who've said the same thing. I've never been completely comfortable with mine, either, though I'm better with that now (as I've gotten older).
